The 20×40 clear top tent is 20 feet wide and 40 feet long, with 800 sq ft of open floor under a clear vinyl roof. It’s a frame tent, so there are no poles in the middle, and it seats 64 to 80 guests. On grass it’s staked into the ground, and on a patio, driveway or parking lot it’s held down with weights. Sidewalls for this size are 7 ft tall. How 800 Square Feet Lays Out

We plan about 10 sq ft for each seated guest and about 5 sq ft for each standing guest. In a 20 x 40 tent, that gives you a few ways to set up:

All tables: up to 80 seated guests, or about 8 to 10 round tables of eight.
Dinner plus dancing: about 64 seated, with the rest of the floor left open for a dance floor or DJ.
Long tables: two rows of banquet tables down the 40 ft length for a family-style meal.
Cocktail party: up to about 160 standing guests with a bar at one end.

You’ll need a flat area of at least 20 by 40 feet. If the tent will be staked, call 811 before setup so underground lines can be marked.

Delivery is quoted from your address and includes setup and pickup, and a rental covers about 3 days. We don’t install clear top tents when temperatures are expected to drop below 35°F.
